CURBING THE MENANCE OF RAGGING

It is brought to the notice of the students that ragging is a criminal offence & AICTE has framed regulation which has been notified vide F.No.37- 3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated July 1, 2009 (available on AICTE web portal http://www.aicte-india.org) on curbing the menace of ragging in order to prohibit, prevent & eliminate the scourge of ragging in AICTE approved Institutions.

The above regulation is mandatory & applied to all students.

We at VIMR strongly believe in maintaining the decorum and follow Anti – Ragging measures as framed by AICTE. We as a part of VIVA family expect each student to abide to it. Non-adherence to the said code of conduct would lead to implementing necessary action on that respective student.

  • Any students convicted of an offence of ragging shall be dismissed from the Institution and such student shall not be admitted in any other educational institution for a period of five years from the date of order of such dismissal
